Jo-Ann started with Folkestone Hythe and Rural PCN in January 2022

Jo-Ann is an experienced NHS Pharmacist with over a decade of Clinical and Management experience across various NHS organisations. Jo-Ann is an independent prescriber with a specialism is cardiovascular medicine. Jo-Ann leads a team of clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and trainee technicians to deliver services to improve the safety and quality of prescribing to have a considerable impact on patients’ lives.  Jo-Ann first trained in clinical Pharmacy at East Kent Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and has had roles as a surgical, medical and specialist Oncology Pharmacist with the trust. More recently, Jo-Ann has worked as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist in the east Kent area for Deal and Sandwich PCN and NHS South Kent Coast CCG (prior to Kent and Medway ICB).
